If you are flying in, Newark Liberty International Airport is the closest to the Jersey Shore, about 40 miles away. Other, slightly further options are Philadelphia and Atlantic City, as well as JFK and LaGuardia in New York City.

Plan on renting a car as well. Affordable car rental rates can be found through a travel agent or through travel websites such as Travelocity or Expedia.

From North Jersey/New York: New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 11 – Garden State Parkway/Shore Points. Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 105 - (Eatontown/Long Branch). After exiting, stay straight (this becomes Rt. 36 East). *Follow directions from Garden State Parkway South Exit 105.

From Philadelphia/South Jersey/Delaware: Take the New Jersey Turnpike North toward New York. Merge onto I-195 East via Exit 7A toward Lakewood/Shore Points. Stay on I-195 East for approx. 29 miles. I-195 East becomes NJ-138 East. Merge onto NJ-18 North toward Eatontown.

Take Route 18 North to Deal Road East exit (Exit 11-A). Continue on Deal Road East until road ends at 5th traffic light. Make a left at light (Ocean Twp Police Dept on corner) onto Monmouth Road. Once you pass the Oakhurst Methodist Church on the right, start looking for Park Avenue, where you will turn right (small hardware store on corner). Continue through four-way stop, traffic light (Norwood Avenue/Route 71), past elementary school, and over small railroad bridge. Church will be about one block from ocean on right.

From the Oyster Point Hotel to Elberon Memorial Church: Make a left onto Rt. 35 South. At second light, make right onto West Front St. Cross over bridge. Make left onto Half Mile Rd (it will be at the second light after the bridge). At second light, make right onto Newman-Springs Rd (Rt. 520).

Take entrance on right for Garden State Parkway South (it will immediately follow overpass). Stay on Garden State Parkway South – approx. 4 miles–until exit 105 (Eatontown/Long Branch). * Follow directions from Garden State Parkway South Exit 105.

From The Comfort Inn:

Make a right onto Route 35 South. Stay on Route 35 for approximately 2.5 miles. Go over bridge. At light, make a left and continue following Route 35 South. Make a right at light onto West Front Street. Cross over a bridge. Make left onto Half Mile Rd. (it will be at the second light after the bridge). At second light, make right onto Newman-Springs Rd (Rt. 520).

Take entrance on right for Garden State Parkway South (it will immediately follow overpass). Stay on Garden State Parkway South – approx. 4 miles–until exit 105 (Eatontown/Long Branch). * Follow directions from Garden State Parkway South Exit 105.

From The Marriott Courtyard at Lincroft:

Make a left onto Half Mile Road. At light, make a right onto Newman Springs Rd (Rt. 520).

Take entrance on right for Garden State Parkway South (it will immediately follow overpass). Stay on Garden State Parkway South – approx. 4 miles–until exit 105 (Eatontown/Long Branch). * Follow directions from Garden State Parkway South Exit 105.

From Garden State Parkway South Exit 105- Eatontown/Long Branch

After exiting, stay straight (this becomes Rt. 36 East). Stay on Rt. 36 East (approx. three miles) and after passing the Audi/Porsche dealership on your right veer right for Rt. 71 South and make a right at the stop sign onto Rt. 71 South (towards West Long Branch/Asbury Park). Follow Rt. 71 South (approx 1.8 miles). Turn right at light onto Norwood Ave (Route 71). At second light, make a left onto Park Ave. Continue on Park, pass the Elberon School, and the Elberon Memorial Church will be on your right.

* There is no “official” parking lot. Parking is available on any of the side streets.

Directions from the Ceremony to the Reception:

Elberon Memorial Church to The Oyster Point Hotel:

Make a left out of the Church onto Park Ave. At light make a right onto Norwood Ave (Rt. 71 North). Follow signs for Rt. 71 North and make a left at T-intersection. Stay on Rt. 71 North. At Rt. 36 junction, make a left at light onto Rt. 36 West. Follow Rt. 36 West –approx. 4 miles—to Garden State Parkway North. Pay $.70 cent toll.

Stay on Garden State Parkway North approx. 4 miles until Exit 109 – Red Bank/Lincroft. After exiting, stay right (this becomes Half Mile Road). At T-intersection, make a right onto West Front Street. Go over bridge. At second light after bridge (you’ll see a big red antique store on the corner), make a left. At next light, veer right onto Route 35 South (DO NOT CROSS BRIDGE). Make quick left onto Bodman Place (you’ll see a sign for the Oyster Point Hotel). Continue straight down Bodman. Hotel will be on right.
